Billionaire Kidnapper Evans Shocks The World; Did This Again Hours After He….

Evans has allegedly given order for the demobilsation of his trucks, This is in bid to prevent the police from taking custody of them

According to police sources, Evans specifically gave order for the removals of the brain box of the trucks and other motor parts

Notorious billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeje Onwuamadike, aka Evans, allegedly gave order for the demobilsation of his trucks in efforts to prevent the police from taking custody of them.

The order which was learned to have been given by Evans to his brother-in-law, Okwuchukwu Obi and his manager, Chidozie Obiora from Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison, resulted in the demobilisation of all the trucks, Vanguard reports.

According to police sources, Evans specifically gave order for the removals of the brain box of the trucks and other motor parts. The source said: ‘’We went to the park on Sunday with the intention of taking the trucks to police custody for safekeeping, but when we tried starting the trucks we discovered that they had been vandalized.

“We asked the security man at the park what happened to the trucks and he told us that the manager was the last person he saw tampering them.

We called the manager and asked where he was which he told us. When we got there, we arrested him. Upon interrogation, he confessed that Evans asked him to demobilise all the trucks to prevent the Police from confiscating them.

He said Evans approached him from prison through his brother-in-law. We also went to Evans’ in-law’s house and arrested him.” Meanwhile, Obiora while responding to a question narrated his side of the story, he said: “I am from Otolo, in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra state.

I am married with four kids. I am a truck driver. I started working with Evans in August 2016. “I was employed by his secretary, Ngozi.

She told me that the owner of the company, who she identified as George did not reside in the country.

As at the time I was employed, the company had four trucks in its fleet and it had no garage. The trucks were being parked on the roads. A truck was first assigned to me. I was the one going out to look for jobs.

When I get a job I will give the company’s share to Ngozi. Evans didn’t use to come to the company.
Early this year, the company bought seven additional trucks making the total number of trucks to 11.

‘’Evans also rented a truck park along Ago Palace Way. In March 2017, the company changed the truck I was driving and gave me a new one. They sold four of the old trucks and bought four new ones.

Evans came to the garage to see the trucks and gave money to all the drivers. In May 2017, a lawyer known as Emeka, who also worked for the company told me that the management had decided to make me the company’s transport manager.

“He said I was to stop driving trucks, saying that my job would be to look after all the trucks. The company didn’t pay me salaries but I got commissions on any of the trucks that went out for jobs. After Evans was arrested, he called me and asked that I should park all the trucks.

At the time he called me, there were just two trucks at the garage, and I made efforts to track all of them. I took them to the garage.”

Going further, he said: ‘’After he was charged to court, one of his brother-in-laws, known as Okwuchukwu came to the garage to collect my phone number from the security man. He told me that Evans was in Kirikiri prison, saying that he wanted me to come and see him.

We went to the prison and met Evans. He told me that he wanted his in-law and I to help him demobilise all the trucks and prevent the Police from taking them away. He explained that his lawyer advised him to do all he could to stop the police from taking the trucks away from the garage so that they would be sold to raise money to pursue his case.

‘’When we got back to the garage, Evans’ in-law and I demobilised all the trucks. We removed the fuse and hid them. When the police came for the trucks, they discovered that they have been vandalized. I was in my house when the police came to arrest me.

I have returned the fuse I took from the truck and I have explained to them that it was Evans who asked me to demobilise the trucks.” On his part, Evans’ in-law, Obi said: “We didn’t know that he was a kidnapper.

He rarely came to visit us and I didn’t know where he lived in Lagos. He is always the one calling us because we were not calling him on the phone. “I am a trader at Ladipo market and my wife is a teacher.

While the Police were looking for Evans, I didn’t know how they knew about my wife and went to the school where she works to arrest her. I called her on phone on that day but the person who picked the call told me she was at Ikeja Police Station.

When I went for her release I was also arrested. I spent a few days with her at the station before Evans was arrested. My wife and I were immediately released after Evans was arrested. ‘’When I saw him he told me that he was guilty of all he was accused of and begged my wife and I to forgive him. Before he was charged to court, his father came to Lagos, slept in my house.

He met Evans’ lawyer at his office in Igando. The lawyer also asked I and my wife to meet him and he took our statements. After he was charged to court, Evans called me and begged me to help him locate his manager.

He told me that he needed him to keep all his trucks out of the reach of the Police. I took the manager to Kirikiri prison to meet Evans,” he said.
