To Keep Your V@g!n@ Happy, Avoid Doing These 5 Things After $£x

When you think of the times that you feel the most relaxed and happy, the blissed-out buzz you get after an cl!m@x ranks right up there with a deep tissue massage. But what you choose to do while buzzed impacts your V@g!n@.

When the V@g!n@l tissues have been lubricated, swollen, and rubbed against during !nt£rc0urse, it changes how that tissue reacts to the environment. Primarily, you run a much greater risk of !nf£ct!on.

Below is a break down of stuff you should never, ever do after $£x if you want to keep your V@g!n@ happy.

>> Don’t have a hot bath
Getting your bubbles on sounds like the perfect after-$£x activity, but it’s bad news. When your v.ulv@ swells in response to $£xu@l st!mulation, it reveals the opening of the V@g!n@, which means you have a greater chance of !nfect!0n.
If you’re in a hot tub with your partner, that means you’re exposed to the bacteria on his skin and @nu$. Also, extensive water exposure reduces the efficiency of your skin’s antimicrobial barrier.

>> Don’t use soap to wash your V@g!n@
Some women might feel the urge to wash the V@g!n@ with soap after $£x, but that’s really unnecessary. Not only might you have an allergic reaction if your post-$£x skin reacts differently to the harsh chemicals in cleansers, but using soap can lead to vV@g!n@l irritation and dryness.
The V@g!n@ is a self-cleaning 0rg@n, and needs to be treated very, very gently — if you wouldn’t put it in your mouth, you shouldn’t put it in or around your V@g!n@. If you want to take a post-$£x shower, use plain water to rinse off.

>> Don’t forget to urinate
During $£x, bacteria can get pushed into your bl@dder. This can result in post-!nt£rc0urse bl@dder !nf£cti0ns. You can have some snuggle time, just empty your bladder within one hour of having $£x.
Then, wipe from front to back to avoid spreading fec@l matter from your @nus to the V@g!n@. Due to swelling and micro-abr@sions that can occur during $£xu@l intercourse, your v.ulv@ and V@g!n@l skin are particularly tender and prone to !nfecti0n.

>> Don’t sleep in your nylon und£rw£ar
Cotton ling£rie is okay because it’s breathable, but nylon, rayon, or polyester und!£s are a no-no. After $£x, your skin tends to be warm and damp, thanks to p£rspir@tion, V@g!n@l s£cr£t!ons, and s£m£n.
As such, synthetic und£rw£ar traps the moisture and you run the risk of a ye@st !nfecti0n. The V@g!n@ likes to breathe. So, go Un.cl@d or stick to cotton P@n.ts after $£x.

>> Don’t use flushable w£t wip£s
If you’re sensitive to chemicals like alcohol, glycerin, scents, and certain oils, using a flushable w£t wip£ after $£x can cause !rritation, since you’re more susceptible to skin issues after $£x. The signs include redness, swelling, itching, and tenderness.

If you’re set on cleaning up with something other than toilet paper, try doing your own w!pe with warm water and vinegar. Mix one teaspoon of vinegar with a quart of water, pour some on to a wash cloth and wipe your vu.lv@ over the toilet, and then p@t dry. The vinegar is mildly cleansing and helps maintain the skin’s natural acidity.
